Tips and Suggestions

Explore the 60 acre Botanical Gardens and Everglades Wildlife Sanctuary which features over 3,000 species of rare and exotic, tropical, subtropical and native plants in addition to an Arboretum that contains some of the largest trees in Florida. Come face to face with the largest collection of Florida native wildlife that have been injured and are non-releasable including alligators, a bear, bobcats, eagles, otters, panthers, peacocks, and of course flamingos. At Everglades Excursion, we don't tour, WE EXPLORE! Therefore, your exploration includes a private tour by a Horticulturist through the Botanical Gardens, a tram ride, interactive shows, and a tour through the Wray Home, which was built in 1933 and is one of the oldest residences in the County. For our Guests disembarking from their cruise, your luggage will stay securely in the vehicle. The vehicle and driver will be with you throughout the excursion. We will also check you in for your domestic flight and provide you your boarding pass which is another exclusive benefit of Everglades Excursion.

• Please wear light clothing, sunglasses, hat, and walking shoes
• ​Pregnant women or Guests with neck or back problems should not participate in the tram portion of this exploration

• For cruise guests, be sure to provide us with your flight information so that we can check you in and provide you your boarding pass
